What do you love about historical romance?
Is it the rustling of heavy skirts, or a hero on horseback? Maybe it’s being transported to a candlelit ballroom, a rustic feasting hall, or a windswept cottage by the sea. Perhaps they remind you of the fairy tales that first entranced you as a child.
I love historical romance because, simply, the past just feels more romantic. I realize that it wasn't always so. But I like to think there were moments where a simple touch, glance, or a stolen kiss turned a mundane day into a magical one. It is those magical moments, inspired by rich historical settings (with just a sprinkle of fairy tale and myth thrown in for good measure) that inspire my stories. I hope one day you’ll get to read them.
What do I love about historical romance? Everything…because a ripped bodice never goes out of fashion.
